Urakusai Oda (a real brother of Nobunaga Oda) who was a tea ceremony virtuoso born in the Owari region gave up his "samurai (a warrior)" status after the Osaka winter war and became a monk living at Shoden-in in the initial stage of tea ceremony was inaugurated. He built a tea ceremony arbor named as "Jo-an" there and the room he lived was called as Shoden-in-shoin. Although Jo-an, Shoden-in-shoin and other buildings were moved from place to place after the Meiji Era, they were finally settled at Inuyama in 1972 and named "Uraku-en."
