Held on the 1st Saturday and Sunday of April at Inuyama City.
This is a festival of Haritsuna Shrine started in around 1635. 13 three tiered Yamas or the floats designated as tangible folk culture properties of Aichi Prefecture march the streets and show Karakuri-doll (or mechanical doll) performances with music of flutes and drums. The scene Yamas on which 365 lanterns are lit march in the full bloom of cherry blossoms is just like to see a gorgeous and brilliantly colored picture.
