A festival held by the groups of hand-held firework lovers in Toyohashi City who gather once a year for the festival. The festival was started in 1996 as one of the commemorative events of the 90th anniversary of Toyohashi City. A variety of traditional fireworks such as Tezutsu, Ozutsu, Rantama and Tsunabi that are inherited from the east Mikawa region are presented at the festival site. The festival is the last event to send out summer in Toyohashi. Many watchers gather to see rare interesting fireworks from various regions. Traditional precious folk entertainment from the east Mikawa region are also performed at the festival. Many other events like product exhibitions are also held, and skyrocketing fireworks color the night skies so that you can completely enjoy the essence of Mikawa fireworks.
