A classic car festival that will blow your mind!

Toyota Automobile Museum Classic Car Festival is an event held every year since 1990 in the hopes of spreading and passing on the allure of automobile culture. 2023 celebrates the 24th anniversary of the festival. Personally-owned cars drive along 14 km of public roads in a parade from the Toyota Automobile Museum to the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park) with automobile exhibitions, event zones for children, and more automotive fun!

◆Program details◆

◎Classic Car Parade
Approximately 120 privately-owned classic Japanese, American, and European cars parade along 14 km of Nagakute City's public roads!
Time: 8:45 am–10:45 am
Route: Toyota Automobile Museum→Waki Intersection→Ichigahora Intersection→Iwasakitakenoyama N. Intersection→Fire Sta. N. Intersection→Kumabarishingyoda Intersection→Nagakute Onsen Spa Gozarasse→Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park)

◎Automobile exhibition
Once the Classic Car Parade comes to a close, you can see an exhibition of all the nearly 120 vehicles in one location!
Time: 9:30 am–3:30 pm

◎Walk and talk with the museum curator
Mingle with the cars' owners and get explanations on the automobiles.
Time: 1:00 pm–1:45 pm

◎Sunday afternoon interaction
Interact with owners and museum staff.
Time: 1:05 pm–1:45 pm

◎Planned Exhibition Zone's Inheritance and Evolution driving demo and commemorative photography session
Time: Driving demo 11:30 am–12:00 pm / Photography session 9:30 am–11:00 am and 12:00 pm–3:00 pm
Exhibition vehicles: Cadillac Model 30 (1912, America), Daihatsu Midget Model DKA (1959, Japan), Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz (1959, America), Toyota 2000GT "Bond Car" (1966, Japan), Toyopet Crown Model RS21 (1960, Japan), Toyota Crown Crossover (2022, Japan), and multiple new unreleased models

◎Traffic Safety Experience Zone
Loaded with fun, hands-on content for children to enjoy traffic safety!

◎Car Information Zone
Time: 9:30 am–3:30 pm
Details: Fuji Motorsports Museum, GR Heritage Parts (reproduction component exhibition and automobile exhibition), all-inclusive vehicle consultation (exhibitions of classic cars and components currently being restored by Shinmei Industry Co., Ltd. and all-inclusive introduction/consultation booths related to restoration), KINTO, and Toyota Smile Life

◎Regional Information Zone
Time: 9:30 am–3:30 pm
Details: Get various information on regional exhibitors (charity merchandise sales by the Japan Service Dog Association; Aichi Urban Development Association; and Nagakute City Tourist Exchange Association) and booth by Toyota Automobile Museum shop.

◎Cuisine Zone
Enjoy food vendor booths and food trucks thanks to the Nagakute City Association of Commerce and Industry.

    Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park:
    From Fujigaoka Station on the Higashiyama Subway Line (board from Nagoya Station), take the Linimo train and get off at Ai-Chikyuhaku Kinen Koen Station. Walk 1 min. south.

    Notes:
    • Use a Linimo One-Day Ticket for free admission to the Toyota Automobile Museum as well as discounts at other perks at the shop.

    Access by car
    Take the Nagoya-Seto Expressway from the Tomei Expressway Nisshin Junction, exit from the Nagakute Interchange, and drive for approx. 5 min. or exit from Tomei Expressway's Nagoya Interchange and drive east for approx. 20 min.
