The Hanamatsuri Hall exhibits the history of the 700-year-old Hanamatsuri festival under the theme of Hanamatsuri.

The Hanamatsuri festival, which is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan, is a folk performing art of Toei Town that has been handed down for 700 years. Inside the hall, explanations are provided in an easy-to-understand manner using masks, costumes, ritual implements, old documents and video materials so that even those who have never heard of the Hanamatsuri festival can easily understand it. In addition, costumed dolls are arranged on the dancing arena called the "maido," which was created to convey the essential character of the Hanamatsuri festival, and you can feel its unique atmosphere.
