The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued an advisory as of August 8 concerning the risk of an earthquake (megaquake) occurring at the Nankai Trough.
The scale of the seismic activity at the Nankai Trough megaquake’s epicenter is believed to take place at a relatively larger scale than more typical earthquakes.
Be sure to follow the disaster prevention measures set by the Japanese government and local municipalities hereafter.
