Toyota-City Toyota Kuragaike Commemorative Hall
The Toyota Kuragaike Commemorative Hall is a memorial hall of Toyota Motor Corporation located adjacent to Kuragaike Park. The memorial hall was completed in 1974 to commemorate the achievement of the cumulative total of 10 million Toyota vehicles produced. At the memorial hall, in Toyota’s Establishment Exhibit Room, you can learn about the roots of Toyota, which developed from a weaving machine manufacturer to automobile manufacturer, and also visit the "Kuragaike Art Salon," where special exhibitions are held featuring paintings owned by the company. A former villa of Kiichiro Toyoda, the founder of Toyota Motor Corporation, can also be seen on the premises.
