A park bursting with the history and nature Eastern Mikawa area

Eastern Mikawa Furusato Park is brimming with both lush greenery and the local culture of the Eastern Mikawa area. The park makes use of its expansive premises to house Shukei Garden, which portrays the expansive Mikawa Bay, the flow of the Toyo River, and Mikawa mountains while illustrating the rural landscapes of the Mikawa area at Mikawa Folk Valley. Or take in the sights of seasonal flowers and medicinal plants at the Mikawa Wild Flora Garden and play on the Mikawa Fuji (Red Fuji) net play equipment portraying agricultural villages' terraced fields, available in the Recreation Square.
The view from the Azalea Observation Garden is another must-visit area of the park when the flowers are in bloom.

Regarding the Eastern Mikawa Play Town area usage restrictions
All of the Eastern Mikawa Play Town area is closed for the time being due to extension work on the main garden path leading to the Mito side of the park.

No thoroughfare on part of the course due to June 2, 2023 torrential rains
The park experienced major damage due to the torrential rains on June 2, 2023, and as a result, is still under restoration. The Peak Walking Course (upper and lower) in the Mito garden area, Nanamagari Road Course (lower), and Clear Stream Course are currently unavailable.
