A tourism fishing weir built by the hands and hopes of locals

The Oiden Fishing Weir offers fun fishing using your hands to grab up sweetfish in the clear waters of the upper Yahagi River. You can also buy and enjoy salted, grilled sweetfish; sweetfish gohei mochi rice cakes on a stick, covered in a sweet miso sauce; sweetfish rice, and other delicious sweetfish treats. Or delight in an out-of-this-world BBQ experience by the riverside (reservation required)!
