Tahara-City Irago Crystal Port Rest Stop

A transportation hub connecting land and sea

Atsumi Peninsula and its surrounding ocean act as the doorway to Tahara City for visitors coming from Toba City in Mie Prefecture as well as the Chita Peninsula and islands dotting the Mikawa Bay in Aichi Prefecture.
Irago Crystal Port Rest Stop offers the signature products of Tahara City and even souvenirs from Toba and Chita for those in the shopping mood. You can even rent cars, bicycles, and electric bikes to travel around the sightseeing spots along the famous Irago area and the greater Atsumi Peninsula.
Inside is a ticket office for the Isewan—or Ise Bay—Ferry, and tickets for the Meitetsu Marine Tourism Boat can be purchased just next door.
