Toyota-City Sanage Onsen
Sanage Onsen was founded in 1554.
It lies in the foothills of Mt. Sanage in Aichi Kogen Quasi-National Park, and is the prefecture's largest natural radon hot spring. The hot spring that gushes forth from 1,200 m below ground is said to be "medicinal water," and the hot spring is famous for being recommended by doctors.
It was also the first hot spring in Aichi Prefecture whose water was approved for drinking (for the intake of the components).
The main facilities are hotels and hot spring establishments for day trippers, and there are also strolling paths around Lake Suzugataki and the like.
There are also power spots in the form of Fudo Myo-o Shrine and Suzugataki waterfall.
