Nagoya-City Yamazaki River Cherry Blossoms

Date : Mar 25–Apr 2, 2024

One of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots

Recognized as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, Yamazaki River sees countless visitors each year coming to admire the beauty. With a total length of approximately 2.5 meters, both sides of the river host some 600 cherry trees which bloom in incredibly vivid colors.
During the flowering season, the area from Kanaebashi Bridge to Kanaekohashi Bridge experiences an illumination, lighting up 120 meters of cherry blossoms. No matter the time of day, the spectacle is surreal.

Notes:
• Depending on the state of the blossoms, illumination may come to a close earlier than originally planned.
• The area between the Soudahashi Bridge and the Kawanabashi Bridge are closed to traffic due to construction on Paloma Mizuho Sports Park.
