From January 1st, 2017, a limited number of lucky bags will go on sale! There will be ”One Night in a Suite” lucky bags which will entitle you to a suite stay with dinner for two persons at a restaurant of your choice, as well as ”Year-Round Gourmet Passport” lucky bags with tickets that can be used at any of our restaurants. All lucky bags offer discounts from 35% to 65%, with the chance to save up to 110,000 yen or more. A hundred lucky bags with ”Assortment Sweets” containing restaurant discount coupons will also go on sale. We have also prepared only five very special hands-on experience lucky bags, named ”The Art of the Sword” that includes tours to experience the world of Japanese swordsmiths, visiting the masters of Gifu Prefecture and allowing you to experience first-hand the entire world of Japanese swordsmithing.

•Brasserie ”The Terrace” (2F)
From January 1st to 3rd, The Terrace will be offering a lunch and dinner buffet featuring 10 traditional Japanese New Year dishes called osechi and zoni. Roast pork and snow crab will also be available on an all-you-can-eat basis during dinnertime. Moreover, there will be an ice cream station, popular with children as well as adults, serving two flavors of the day with various sweet sauces and toppings. We welcome you together with your family to enjoy this luxurious and sumptuous buffet, which is a perfect way to celebrate the New Year.

A yearly tradition of the restaurant served only on January 1st, the ”Osechi Breakfast", will also be available this year. Indulge in our authentic New Year special dishes, or osechi, all of which have been individually painstakingly prepared. During lunchtime, guests will be served a New Year lunch buffet and may participate in a traditional Mochitsuki (pounding of cooked rice to make rice cakes). Definitely bring your family along! Naturally, New Year dishes will also be served at dinner time. The New Year dinner kaiseki menu and the teppanyaki menu will include such auspicious ingredients as sweetened black soybeans, small dried teriyaki sardines, kazunoko herring roe, and red snapper as well as many other sumptuous dishes ideal for the celebration of the New Year. Start the New Year at the Genji.
