A walkway into the depths of autumn

Tokugawaen Japanese Garden lies in the center of Nagoya City and features a pond perfect for taking a leisurely stroll around. From mid-November, approximately 100 trees, including maples, take on fantastic coloration, dyeing the garden in the hues of fall.

◎ Illuminated walkways
Japanese paper lanterns with Oribe pottery and bamboo lanterns light up the paths throughout the garden. During the Autumn Leaves Festival, the illumination begins from the evening. (Park open until 8:00 pm during the festival period. Admission fee required.)

◎ Sand art exhibition
Japan has a traditional sand art culture known as "Bonseki". Enjoy beautiful scenes of Japan and the techniques used as well as hands-on experiences.

Venue: Garden Hall
