Tahara-City Triathlon Irago

Date : 09/07/2024 - 09/08/2024

  • Triathlon Irago

A superhuman race with professionals participating too

Southern Aichi's oceanside Irago acts as host to a triathlon with swimming, biking, and running—a true test of athletic endurance. The competition began in 1987 and has taken place every September since with all sorts of athletes coming together, including pros. What makes the Irago course so extraordinary is the drastic ups and downs in elevation. Make it up the hills, and the breathtaking scenery awaiting you from the top is unforgettable!
Another fun aspect of Triathlon Irago is the fact that not only athletes but families too can take part in the competition. There are plenty of spectacular spots to watch the competitions—each of the swimming, biking, and running courses—and root for the men and women grinding through them.
