One of Kariya's biggest summer festivals

The Kariya Wansaka Festival is one of the city of Kariya's largest festivals with 100 thousand people coming in past years. The festival is filled with stage shows, hands-on attractions, a fireworks display, and other fun events offering good times to both children and adults alike.
The 2024 festival takes place over two days with the evening of Friday the 16th holding the Kariya Bon Dance Festival with a free-for-all bon dance before the main festival on Saturday the 17th, which paints the Kariya sky in vivid colors with a stunning fireworks display.
