A trip back in time to the Warring States period

Okudaira Nobumasa, a general during the Warring States period, resided in Kameyama Castle, making it the perfect venue for the Tsukude Old Castle Festival every May. The Nagashino-Shitaragahara Matchlock Rifle Brigade offers shooting demonstrations, local junior high school and other taiko drum troupe performances, and more.
Take a look back in time at the Tsukude of yesteryear as you experience a bit of Japan's Warring States period among the beautiful local greenery.

Access by public transport

From Shinshiro Station on the JR Iida Line (board from Toyohashi Station, in turn reachable by the JR Tokaido Main Line or Meitetsu Nagoya Line from Nagoya Station), take the Shinshiro S-Bus's Tsukude Line, get off at Tsukude Tezukuri Mura Bus Stop (approx. 35-min. ride) and walk 2 min. south.
Access by car

• Approx. 35 min. northwest from Shinshiro Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway via Routes 151 and 301.
• Approx. 40 min. northeast from Okazaki-Higashi Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway via Routes 473 and 37.
• Approx. 60 min. southeast from Toyota-Matsudaira Interchange on the Aichi Loop Expressway via Route 301.
