An authentic Shinto festival

For three days from May 3 to May 5, a festival beloved by all since ancient times is held. Shinto ceremonies and festivities as well as a sapling market and street stalls line Toga Jinja Shrine's premises, drawing in crowds from far and wide. On May 3 and 4, a daring Yabusame event with children shooting arrows on horseback with five colored cloths adorning them is held.
