Find produce grown within the city and products using them as well as merchandise made from Shinshiro's expansive forests. Then, dine at the cafeteria which uses fresh, in-season ingredients. There are also hands-on woodworking and hand craft experiences, as well as a petting zoo. The establishment also has an information center where visitors can find fresh new tourist hints and tips.
Shop for the perfect souvenir, like delicious freshly harvested produce from the Okumikawa area, where the city of Shinshiro lies, in addition to other products from the neighboring prefecture. Then there's the nutritious yet delicious tomato-flavored soft serve ice cream and tomato juice, frankfurters, and other lip-smacking takeout treats of the Okumikawa area.
Call in advance and make reservations for an open-air BBQ party. All you need to bring is your wallet. Staff arranges and prepares all the materials and ingredients for an enjoyable meal using Tsukude Beef, distinctive sausages, vegetables of the season, and more.
Paru and Ami, a couple of call ducks—the smallest species of duck in the world—joined the establishment in November of 2016. And as if they weren't cute enough, a new brown call duck was also born. Come say hello to these adorable little ducks!
