- Approximately 20 minutes by ferry from Isshiki Port, Sakushima Island is in almost the exact center of Mikawa Bay. The island is filled with numerous artworks, alleys lined with traditional houses, and other splendid scenery. Satisfy your appetite with a multitude of local specialties that rarely appear on the market, including clams, octopus, oysters, sea cucumbers, other fresh seafood products, and vegetables grown with love and care by the islanders.

Isshiki Sakana Hiroba
- Isshiki Sakana Hiroba is a fish market adjacent to the Isshiki fishing harbor that faces Mikawa Bay. Inside are rows of stalls selling local products, including seafood caught at Isshiki fishing harbor, eels raised in the clean waters of the Yahagi River, prawn crackers, and a variety of fruits.

Mikawakougei Glass Art Museum
- Mikawakougei Glass Art Museum is an interactive museum known for original art, starting with the world's largest kaleidoscope at the time, confirmed by Guinness World Records in 2000.

Miso Park
- Miso Park is a fermented foods theme park managed by Hatoya, brewer of the Japanese staples of soybean miso paste, tamari, white soy sauce.
Plenty of experiences are available, such as classes for making original dressing or miso balls, a free tour to learn about miso, and more (all require reservations in advance).
At the miso warehouse, you can also observe the 100-year-old cedar barrels from up close.

Nishio City History Park
- At Nishio City History Park is a partial reconstruction of Nishio Castle, a wealthy castle town that yielded 60,000 koku of rice yearly under the Nishio Domain in the Edo period. Within the park you'll find the Honmaru Ushitora Yagura turret, the Chujakumon Gate, the Former Konoe Residence built in the Sukiya style, a camellia garden, and beautiful Kyoto-style Japanese garden Shokosho.
