Lighting up the night sky in Tokai City

The Winter Light Display in Otagawa event is held each winter at the event areas (Donden Plaza / Oyane Plaza) in front of Meitetsu Otagawa Station. The east and west of the station are unified in a magnificent illumination based on the theme of that year.
This year's them is "Stardust Stellar Symphony". An enormous Christmas tree stands in Oyane Plaza and the combination of its three-dimensional glimmer and the night sky's illumination make for a spectacular scene like stardust falling from the heavens. Every 10 minutes, a show of light and sound too take place.
In Donden Plaza, a new original photo spot is set up, letting you capture the moment on film.

Note:
• Photos are from previous years.

Opening Event

• Date and time: From 5:00 pm; Sun, Dec 1, 2024
• Location: Oyane Plaza
A Lighting Ceremony and stage events take place with the lights turning on thanks to an electricity supply from an electric vehicle! Events include dances, live performances, and more with reusable tote bags given out and feasts from food trucks.
