Miraculous Scenery Where You Can See Gorgeous Cherry Blossoms and Vibrant Autumn Leaves at the Same Time

There are currently around 10,000 Shikizakura cherry blossom trees within the Obara district, and in autumn you can enjoy the competition between their colored leaves.
Cherry blossom trees which are thought to be hybrids of species called "mamezakura" and "edohigan" blossom in both spring and autumn. White or pink flowers bloom all over the town.
During the annual Obara Shikizakura Four-Season Cherry Blossom Trees Festival from November 1st to 30th, a variety of events are held each year in the area around the Obara Branch Office of the Toyota City Hall, next to Obara Fureai Park, serving as the main venue.

Note : During the Obara Shikizakura Four-Season Cherry Blossom Trees Festival, the gates will be closed and cars will not be able to enter. (The area will return to being a place for baseball and other activities.) Please park at the adjoining Obara Branch Office of the Toyota City Hall and walk to the park.
